Healthcare Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in ensuring patient comfort, dignity, and safety while contributing to the smooth operation of the hospital.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a Certificate III in Aged Care or Health Services who is passionate about delivering high-quality care in a supportive team setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
  • Contribute to a safe and welcoming environment, prioritizing patient well-being and comfort at all times.
  • Assist clinical staff in providing high-quality care and patient support.
  • Provide transport services using hospital-approved equipment and vehicles.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms and shared areas in line with infection control standards.

Requirements:

  • Must possess a Certificate III in Aged Care, Health Services, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working in a clinical hospital setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of infection control, manual handling, and hospital safety procedures.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
