Key Business Analyst Role

  • Lead requirements gathering processes, working collaboratively to understand complex business needs while ensuring all requirements are met for successful project delivery.
  • Use information gathering techniques to convert requirements into high-quality user stories, including personas, acceptance criteria, and synthesise information accurately and coherently.
  • Translate ideas into clear user stories, workflows, and data models to support development and QA while formulating integration-based features for sufficient technical details.
  • Test and analyse to ensure no disruptions in systems and networks during implementation phases.
  • Use data-driven insights to leverage customer insights and usage data to inform technical design and strategic decisions.
  • Install, configure, and test new changes to network environments or systems, administering upgrades where necessary.
  • Maintain documentation regarding problem resolution and provide diagnosis and recommendations around future states, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or equivalent field.
  • Demonstrated experience in core BA practices, including user stories, product backlog management, and use case development aligned to Agile delivery.
  • Clear and confident communication skills to translate between business goals and technical needs.
  • A curious, analytical, and product-focused mindset with a drive to uncover the 'why' behind every feature.
  • A self-starter with a proactive, inquisitive mindset, comfortable engaging stakeholders to clarify requirements and drive alignment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex technical matters to both technical and non-technical audiences.
