About the Role

This position requires a heightened focus on conducting and coordinating case management across a team, while managing a smaller client portfolio with full partnering scope.

The role involves hands-on involvement in shaping forward-looking projects that promote employee engagement and compliance. It also offers opportunities to work with teams across Recruitment, Learning and Development, Diversity and Inclusion, Workplace Health and Safety, Workers Compensation, HR Systems and Payroll Services.

Key Accountabilities
  • Conduct complex case management matters, ideally using digital tracking systems and analytics, in a unionised or industrial environment.
  • Provide advice and guidance as a subject matter expert for business units, working on strategic initiatives with other teams within the division.
  • Manage employee relations matters within business units, driving outcomes and mitigating risk.
  • Contribute to change management initiatives and create cultural programs to embed values in the organisation.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated capability in conducting, coordinating and reporting on complex case management matters.
  • Proven experience in workplace mediation and/or facilitation is highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualifications at degree or diploma level in human resources management or equivalent, or relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in providing generalist HR advice in large or complex organisations.
  • A consultative approach in delivering HR services to managers and employees.
