About the Role

The ABC is creating a new audience-focused communication experience. In this role, you will be developing the implementation strategy in partnership with internal Marketing and Product teams, including best approach to solution design; integrations with existing technology systems; and end-to-end testing, utilising data driven insights to ensure the platform meets strategic goals and is fully operational.

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive the development of an implementation strategy and approach (in collaboration with internal business and technical SMEs). Apply best practices to define the architecture, design, and integration to ensure seamless delivery and testing.
  • Steer the business readiness program by working with business teams to define and develop the future state operating model, ensuring effective change management, training, and smooth early adoption for end-users.
  • Develop and maintain effective strategic relationships with external parties to ensure solutions proposed meet our business goals and align to the technical strategy.
  • Partner with Commercial and Procurement teams in ABC to support a successful go-to-market strategy, including evaluation and implementation best practice.
  • Represent the ABC's unique business needs and requirements throughout the implementation process, and ensure they are considered in solution design and setup, and with 3rd party vendor and implementation partners.
  • Manage implementation and platform risks and challenges, developing mitigation strategies to address them proactively with relevant stakeholders.
  • Partner with the Project manager to define the implementation milestones and support in overall project delivery planning.

About You

  • Extensive experience as an implementation specialist with MarTech/ Marketing Automation Platform solutions, responsible for partnering with, overseeing, and guiding external Implementation Partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with risks effectively managed.
  • Strong technical knowledge of marketing-related SaaS solutions, ideally in marketing automation, CRM, or decisioning platforms.
  • Proven experience in defining implementation business requirements for Marketing Automation Platforms or other MarTech enterprise implementations, working closely with technical and business teams to drive solutions, especially in data architecture, technology capabilities, and testing.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Implementation Partner landscape in Australia, including operational and commercial models, with significant experience working with a variety of Tier 1 and Tier 2 Implementation Partners.
  • Deep understanding of direct marketing and CRM, including email and push notification channels, with a proven track record of technical leadership and a solid grasp of customer experience and marketing communications.
  • Strong knowledge of product and project management practices, tools and software (e.g., Atlassian Suite), with experience in large-scale, cross-functional, and multi-phase projects.
  • Excellent communicator, able to bridge the gap between business and technology, and foster strong relationships with various stakeholders.
