About the Role

The commercial finance analyst plays a key role in supporting divisional operations across accounting, budgeting, and forecasting within the wire business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing weekly cash flow forecasts and identifying areas for improvement based on current forecast accuracy
  • Coordinating site-specific month-end accounting functions within defined timeframes
  • Preparing and distributing monthly reporting packs for the wire business
  • Coordinating the annual budget process through the consolidation of quantitative and qualitative information
  • Assisting in the collection, analysis, and presentation of market data to support product decisions as required
  • Conducting analysis of key cost drivers to identify performance improvement opportunities and initiatives

We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team environment and has the ability to adapt to changing structures, processes, information, and technologies. You will also have:

  • A tertiary qualification in commerce, finance, or accounting
  • Strong commercial acumen and eagerness to learn
  • Experience within a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment highly regarded
  • Experience with Power BI/SAP an added advantage
  • Advanced Excel modelling skills
