We are seeking a dedicated and values-driven Board Director to help shape the future of support for carers across New South Wales.
This is a unique opportunity to use your expertise and leadership to influence strategy, advocate for carers, and ensure their voices are heard at the highest levels.
About Our OrganisationOur organisation is the peak non-government body for carers in NSW, part of the National Carer Network and a member of Carers Australia.
Our organisation has an exclusive focus on supporting and advocating for all carers regardless of their age, location, life-stage or circumstances.
Eligibility Criteria- Demonstrated experience in policy development and research within the human services and/or not-for-profit sector.
- Experience in Technology/Technology Consulting at a Senior/Executive level.
- A record of participation in the non-government and/or human service sectors at a leadership level or above.
Strategic planning, Board development and reviewing financial performance.
Meetings are held at least six times a year and usually last from three to four hours.
Directors are appointed as individuals, not as nominees or representatives of organisations or a particular sector.
