Complaints and Conduct Officer

This role plays a critical part in supporting the university's commitment to excellence in student conduct, complaints and appeals matters.

About the Role:

  • Process student complaints and feedback using a standardised system.
  • Provide advice to staff on system operations and complaint management.
  • Support the implementation of the student conduct policy and discipline committees.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective case management and resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage student complaints and appeals in accordance with policies and procedures.
  2. Provide high-quality support to students and staff on conduct, complaints and appeals.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including students, staff and external agencies.

Requirements:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or significant experience in student conduct, complaints and appeals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex cases and prioritise tasks.
