Cafe Manager Job Overview

Our cafe is seeking a highly skilled and experienced cafe manager to lead our daily operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day cafe operation, including setup, closing, ordering, stock management, rostering, and ensuring seamless kitchen and front-of-house operations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Prepare and serve beverages, including coffee and smoothies.
  • Lead and manage staff members, prioritizing tasks for efficient completion within business hours.
  • Conduct quality control and marketing activities to drive sales and growth.
  • Assist back-of-house members during peak periods and perform general cleaning duties.
  • Support staff in carrying out their duties and ensure a positive work environment.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of management experience in a restaurant or cafe setting.
  • Qualifications in hospitality and/or management highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience running a cafe.
  • A Food Safety Supervisors Certificate is required.
  • Australia Work Authorization is preferred.
