Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist/Hr Generalist to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing our end-to-end recruitment process, working closely with our HR Administrator and HR Manager to support the smooth execution of this critical function.

Your primary focus will be on taking job briefs and job design discussions, agreeing recruitment strategies with hiring managers, drafting and posting advertisements, facilitating assessment centers for specific high-volume recruitment, analyzing and reporting on recruitment metrics and trends, interpreting recruitment policies and legislation, and providing advice to hiring managers.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to develop broader generalist HR skills in areas such as providing HR advice to frontline leaders and employees, supporting leaders to resolve less complex performance concerns, coordinating talent pipelines and programs for graduates, cadets, and apprentices, and ad-hoc HR projects.

Requirements:
  • At least 3 years Recruitment/Talent Acquisition experience, either in-house or agency
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to negotiate and influence others
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage competing demands
  • Can-do attitude and ability to think outside the square to achieve outcomes
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline (desired)
