Key Job Role

As a Speech Pathologist, you will work as part of our national team to provide high-quality clinical services to clients with varying communication and swallowing needs. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized therapy plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to help clients achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough communication assessments to identify areas of need and develop personalized intervention plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless client care and facilitate effective communication among team members
  • Design and implement individualized therapy programs to address clients' unique needs and objectives
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary
Qualifications and Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant Speech Pathology professional body
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • A strong understanding of speech pathology principles and practices, including assessment and treatment techniques
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and technology to document client information and track progress
