Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology Team Leader Position

A high-level position in occupational therapy or speech pathology is available for an experienced leader who can manage a team and shape the next generation of clinicians.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for leadership, be able to mentor emerging professionals, and contribute to meaningful outcomes in their local community.
- Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services in a timely manner
- Deliver occupational therapy or speech pathology services to participants within schools, homes, and the local community
- Use clinical observations, standardized assessments, and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions that help participants achieve more in life
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care
- Support graduate and early career occupational therapists or speech pathologists through clinical supervision, mentoring, and professional development
- Build a collaborative and supportive environment to enhance team members' abilities to achieve high-quality clinical outcomes
- Optimize workflow, scheduling, and referral allocation to ensure efficient service delivery
- Maintain awareness of current NDIS legislation to guarantee compliance
The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. They will also have strong clinical expertise in occupational therapy or speech pathology, as well as experience in mentoring and supporting junior staff members.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, such as the NDIS, and be able to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
