Job Description

We have an opportunity for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team where you will focus on providing critical & value add judgment to support operational reporting, accounting and be business unit centred.

Our finance services team remit is to be capability orientated to deliver business partnering & achieving effective value add decision making, to be readily & easily understood by the customer and adaptable for ongoing continuous improvement.

This includes preparation, meaningful analysis, intrinsic understanding and presentation of reports and KPIs reflecting earnings, profits and other financial results that enable business stakeholders to make fully informed decisions on performance improvement.

The role offers a combination of office and work from home (WFH - minimum 3 days Office)

As the Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Monthly Profit & Loss and associated review, presentation, discussion and reporting commentary with BU Managers
  • Preparation and review monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and lead resolution on reconciliations
  • Preparation and support of budget/forecast process in close consultation with Managers and stakeholders
  • Input into Corporate Reporting and coordinating with team members for accurate completion
  • Active involvement in business performance management reporting including recommendations and implementation of continuous process improvement and assessment
  • Aiding and assisting general finance/accounting/systems and associated analysis and business decision support

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum of 5 years management or financial accounting experience
  • Comprehensive finance reporting and operational metrics experience
  • Demonstratable strong analytical and problem-solving capability and aptitude
  • Mature and adaptable outlook able to proactively embrace change and improvement
  • Strong communication and relationships skills including ability to develop strong business partnering
  • Exhibit a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to progressively work through the development phase of the newly implemented SAP system. Identify and implement improvements to processes and system reporting.
  • CPA/CA/CIMA qualification or part qualification
