About This Role

As a Logistics Team Lead, you will oversee a team of logistics professionals to ensure the timely and accurate processing of orders. Your expertise in order processing, inventory management, and staff management will drive operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations for timely and accurate order completion (picking & despatch)
  • Ensure accurate processing of completed orders with verified information for guaranteed order accuracy
  • Create daily processing schedules to meet client delivery SLAs
  • Act as the point of contact for issue-escalation relating to order processing, despatch, and delivery to clients, resolving order-related issues promptly
  • Provide excellent internal customer service through coordination and collaboration with various departments
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with procurement
  • Build supplier relationships for continuous product delivery without interruption to customer requirements
  • Implement and participate in team member training and coaching, evaluating performance using established KPI requirements

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in order processing, inventory management, and staff management
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with organisational and multitasking abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of order processing systems and procedures for efficient and accurate order fulfillment
  • Excellent attention to detail for reviewing orders, resolving discrepancies, and preventing fulfillment errors
  • Strong organisational skills for managing order volumes, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines
  • Decision-making capability and strong problem-solving skills
