Our organization is seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to lead and manage field quality assurance and engineering activities for projects. This role ensures that all field engineering and quality processes are executed efficiently, meet regulatory and safety standards, and align with the project's goals.

The Quality Assurance Engineer acts as the primary liaison between the field operations, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to ensure project success. This role is responsible for developing and implementing field quality assurance plans, procedures, and standards to ensure project compliance with industry regulations or best practices.

The Quality Assurance Engineer conducts field inspections and audits to monitor the quality of work performed by field teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring all equipment and materials delivered to site are inspected and documented.

This role also identifies and resolves quality issues by coordinating with engineering and field teams to implement corrective actions. The Quality Assurance Engineer amends quality control processes as required to respond to changes in specifications and/or drawings that may arise, ensuring that inspection and test plans are adjusted to suit.

The Quality Assurance Engineer reviews and maintains project quality records, monitors supplier quality performance, and makes recommendations to senior leadership for actions for underperforming suppliers.

This role also assists in the preparation and conduct of any quality trials and prepares associated records, procedures, and registers. The Quality Assurance Engineer oversees the development and approval of non-destructive test procedures by subcontractors and maintains records.

Additionally, the Quality Assurance Engineer represents the organization with respect to QA/QC issues with clients and subcontractors/suppliers, manages field inspection activities, undertakes internal reviews of QC areas on the project, develops and manages project QA/QC audit schedules, and implements data collection processes.
