Uralla Shire Council is seeking a proactive and experienced Ganger – Construction to lead and coordinate the delivery of road construction and maintenance projects across the Shire. This hands-on leadership role involves supervising operational staff and contractors, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure that supports the community, with occasional weekend and public holiday work as part of an on-call rotation.

The CandidateThe ideal candidate will be a qualified and experienced construction professional with a Certificate III in Local Government (Construction), SafeWork Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Control Plan qualifications, and a current Class C Driver's Licence. They will demonstrate strong leadership, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to operate a range of plant and equipment, respond effectively to customer service requests, and work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. You will be physically fit to undertake the inherent requirements of the job

In return for your hard work and dedication, Council is offering a commencing weekly rate of $ gross per week.
