
Rail Infrastructure Specialist

In this role, you'll be part of a transformative agenda aimed at enhancing the safety and reliability of heavy rail assets. Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and ensuring accuracy, compliance, and currency of the Asset Register across the asset class.
- Preparing evidence-based business cases, reports, and strategic recommendations by analyzing data, assessing risks, evaluating costs, and consulting stakeholders.
- Collaborating with senior leadership to develop integrated investment plans aligned with long-term infrastructure strategies, system reliability, and funding considerations.
- Leading the creation and delivery of integrated Transport Asset Management Strategic Assets and Services Plans (TAM SASP) and Asset and Services Plans (TAM ASP) for the portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in strategic asset management, preferably within heavy rail or transport infrastructure sectors. You should possess strong skills in risk assessment, business case development, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement. A deep understanding of asset lifecycle management, safety, environmental compliance, and governance is also essential. You will be responsible for influencing senior leaders and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, asset management, or related fields are highly desirable.
