Drainage Design Engineer - Rail Infrastructure

This role requires a highly skilled and experienced Drainage Design Engineer to join our Rail team in North Sydney. The ideal candidate will have expertise in drainage design input, coordination, and project delivery.

The successful candidate will provide technical advice and demonstrate advanced technical skills, ensuring that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and client requirements.

We are seeking an engineer with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing technical support and collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and contributors to maintain quality, timeliness, and coordination of project deliverables.
  • Providing expert advice and demonstrating advanced technical skills, ensuring that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and client requirements.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar field.
  • 4+ years industry experience in rail drainage design across transport infrastructure projects.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Proficient with 12D and DRAINS software.
  • Familiar with Australian standards.
