Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Officer with excellent analytical skills and customer service experience to join our team. The successful candidate will have a knack for claims or managing a caseload, empathy, and the ability to work with clients and stakeholders.

About the Role

As a Claims Officer, you will be responsible for undertaking research to inform evidence-based decision making, actively investigating claims, and liaising with clients and stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

  • Undertake thorough research to inform data-driven decision making
  • Actively investigate claims, working with clients and stakeholders to obtain relevant information
  • Evaluate case notes and determine outcomes

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Demonstrate exceptional empathy and patience when interacting with individuals
  • Offer outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Prior experience working within the healthcare sector, claims, injury, finance, community services, or managing a caseload is highly regarded

Benefits

The successful candidate must be an Australian citizen and possess excellent customer service and communication skills. Previous experience working through claims or injury management cases, payroll or accounts receivable/payable experience, and experience with financials or MS Suite are highly valued.
