About the Role
The role involves assisting with recovery and enabling ongoing community support services. We take a strengths-based approach to supporting vulnerable consumers, focusing on empowering individuals and fostering meaningful relationships.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining connections with clients, providing direct support and guidance as needed.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will require exceptional listening skills and a compassionate approach. A caring individual with lived experience of mental illness would be highly valued. Additionally, a direct association with the Australian Defence Force (ex-ADF or spouse/partner of a veteran or serving personnel) is essential.
A methodical and organized approach, combined with a focus on human-centered interests, would make you an ideal candidate for this position.
Benefits
This is a temporary assignment lasting up to 12 months, with full-time hours (Monday to Friday, 7.5 hours per day). Flexibility to work on a roster basis between 8am and 6.45pm is required. The location is Rockingham, WA, with a competitive hourly rate.
Please note that eligibility requires Australian Citizenship, and a clear Federal Police Check is necessary.
