Business Solution Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Business Solution Consultant to configure and implement software solutions for our clients.

As a Business Solution Consultant, you will play a critical role in integrating business needs with technology solutions, directly impacting the value realized by the client and the ultimate success of the relationship.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and develop software solutions for multiple simultaneous projects via onsite and remote configuration.
  • Gather functional and business requirements from clients and translate into a functional hosted solution design that meets customer needs.
  • Configure, test, and document dashboards, reports, and underlying data models to meet functional design and specifications.
  • Operational management of select customer implementations, including loading new data and reviewing dashboard/report outputs.
  • Work with product management and development to channel client feedback and solutions into future releases of the product suite.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to comprehend complex spreadsheets/data and streamline processes into the solution.
  • Attention to detail and self-starter attitude.
  • Client-focused attitude and team player with solid communication and presentation skills.
  • Competent with packaged application software implementation practices and high-level knowledge of enterprise IT organizational environments.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in a business or technical analyst role for medium to large-scale business software implementation projects.
  • Strong to expert skills in data analysis/manipulation and knowledge of relational database concepts.
  • Skilled at working with large data sets in Excel and quickly detecting and resolving data-related issues.

Education: Degree in engineering, computer science, MIS, finance, or equivalent experience. Training/certification in ITIL or equivalent is a bonus.
