Used Vehicle Acquisitions Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Used Car Buyer/Valuer to join our team at Sime Motors Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing pre-owned vehicles, ensuring optimal pricing to maximize profitability in retail sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Locate and acquire stock for the Brisbane retail business
  • Evaluate market conditions to determine fair prices and maximize profit in retail sales
  • Contribute to pricing decisions
  • Utilize online systems and resources to identify and purchase suitable vehicles for the dealerships

Requirements:

  • Prior automotive sales experience, with prestige brand exposure preferred but not essential
  • An effective communicator, able to manage time efficiently, and willing to adhere to established processes
  • A strong understanding of market values
  • A current driver's license and ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission
