Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our finance team as an Accounting Clerk.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving abilities.

As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for processing rent invoices and payments, liaising with landlords, general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable, month-end closing and year-end audits.

You will also assist the finance department with ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required.

The successful candidate will have great time management skills, high levels of accuracy and ability to work under pressure.

Retail experience is preferred but not essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Excel and other financial software
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education an asset
