Job Summary

This is an opportunity to drive the successful delivery of a platform. As a lead, you will establish a model and team, bringing together cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of high-impact improvements that support business continuity and user needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate governance arrangements associated with the platform to ensure that the integrity of platform architecture remains strong and aligned.
  • Establish governance forums and frameworks, and subsequently convening and reporting into governance forums
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure business needs are captured, manage expectations, and ensure successful outcomes, in particular with module owners.
  • Lead and coordinate the cross-functional Platform Management Team, supporting a positive matrix way of working and strong team culture
  • Lead the enhancements prioritisation process to ensure improvements are delivered in line with stakeholder needs for business continuity and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams, including staff, vendors, and consultants
  • Proven experience leading complex enterprise platforms and improvements, ideally within local government or public sector environments.
  • Strong background in Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Proven ability to manage project governance, interdependencies, portfolios, or programs of work and lead governance and decision making forums
  • Track record in driving benefits realisation and value tracking for enterprise initiatives.
  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, Project Management, or related field.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment checks.
