We are seeking a seasoned leader to fill the role of Infrastructure Platforms Director, who will be responsible for overseeing the delivery and operation of our infrastructure platforms.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have prior experience in a similar leadership position, with a strong technical understanding of Microsoft platforms and Azure. They will also possess extensive service management experience, knowledge of information technology infrastructure domains, and security expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Delivery and Operations: Ensure consistent end-to-end delivery and operations of infrastructure platforms, executing communicated performance improvements.
  • Manage Expenses and Budget: Oversee infrastructure operations expenses within budget, ensuring effective budget management and compliance, and providing automation skills to platform teams.
  • Cloud Adoption and Strategy: Drive transformative business value through cloud adoption by educating the business and overseeing infrastructure platform development.
  • Incident Management and Documentation: Orchestrate infrastructure strategies for efficient and effective end-to-end delivery and operations, ensuring incident management and providing high-quality documentation.
  • Product Metrics and Performance: Define and report product metrics, establish and operate processes and tools to track platform performance, and drive urgency in delivering availability and performance measures.
  • Vendor Contracts and SaaS Operations: Manage vendor contracts, oversee SaaS platform operation, and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure infrastructure design and delivery include adequate security controls and collaborate with stakeholders on cybersecurity metrics.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in a leadership role with a focus on infrastructure platforms.
  • Strong technical understanding of Microsoft platforms and Azure.
  • Extensive service management experience and knowledge of all aspects of information technology infrastructure domains and security.
  • Proven ability to orchestrate cloud-based infrastructure platforms to enable autonomous work.
  • Commercial acumen around budgeting and management of third-party outsource arrangements.
