Lead Quantitative Expert

This is a senior role in which the successful candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of models used in Capital Provisioning and Stress Testing. The expert will be responsible for reviewing and validating models to ensure they meet international standards, including FRTB APS117 and APS113.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and validate models for Capital calculations, Economic Capital Stress Testing, and Credit Provisioning
  • Ensure global scope coverage, validating models for Finance Group Treasury and local regulatory requirements worldwide

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets, risk factors, and mathematical research techniques. They will be able to communicate complex ideas effectively and employ theoretical analysis to benchmark best practices.

Requirements:
  • At least 3-7 years of relevant experience in a quantitative role involving modelling and implementation
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and risk factors
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Interest in mathematics and coding; experience with Market Risk models is advantageous
