Job Title: Human Research Ethics Administrator

About the Role:
The Human Research Ethics Administrator will provide administrative support to the operations of the HREC and the Manager (HREC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Triage enquires via email, phone or in person, and respond to straightforward enquiries, re-directing or escalating where complex or appropriate.
  • Arranging and coordinating HREC meetings, events, training sessions and functions including arranging meetings, room bookings, catering, agenda and materials preparation, minute taking, and providing other administration support where required.
  • Providing Administration support for Ethics Secretariat and Human Research Ethics Manager (HREC).
  • This includes administrative changes to approved ethics applications and correspondence on ethics applications.
  • Monitor and review approved ethics applications.
  • Processing invoices and paying.
  • Assist with the preparations of reports to the University and Government authorities.
