Technical Leadership and Engineering Expert

We are seeking an experienced Technical Leader to join our team as a Staff Software Engineer. As part of this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and maintenance of our Real Time Payments Execution Engine.
The future roadmap includes building internal applications to align with strategic goals. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned software engineer to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth and success of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop high-performance Spring Boot microservices in Java for payment processing.
- Design and implement fault-tolerant payment systems using advanced Java concurrency patterns and reactive programming.
- Create comprehensive automated testing suites for payment microservices.
- Implement event-driven payment architectures using Java-based message processing and streaming solutions.
- Code review, mentor development teams, and establish coding standards.
- Design and manage platform solutions spanning on-prem and multi-cloud environments.
- Lead CI/CD pipeline development and optimization.
- Automate operational tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Integrate observability tools for system visibility and reliability.
- Proven experience in full cycle software development & delivery within cloud environments.
- Expert-level Java development skills (Java 11+) with extensive hands-on experience building enterprise-grade applications.
- Advanced Spring Boot and Spring ecosystem expertise for reactive programming and Spring Security.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing microservices architectures from scratch.
- Deep expertise in Java concurrency and multithreading, parallel streams, thread pools, and reactive programming.
- Strong proficiency in Java testing frameworks including JUnit 5, Mockito, TestContainers, and property-based testing.
