About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Streamflow Restoration Project Manager to join our team at the State of Washington. As a key member of our Water Resources program, you will play a critical role in managing projects within a water resource grant portfolio valued in millions of dollars.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the implementation of grant projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and agency policies.
  • Collaborate with grantees to provide technical assistance and support, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community groups.
  • Oversee the closeout of completed grants, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve grant management processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • 8 years of experience in land use, urban, regional, environmental, or natural resource planning, and/or program development, landscape architecture, geography, land use or environmental law, public administration with an environmental emphasis, or closely related experience.
  • Education involving a major study in land use, urban, regional, environmental, or natural resource planning, landscape architecture, geography, land use or environmental law, public administration with an environmental emphasis, or closely related field.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Prior experience administering a portfolio of contracts and/or grants.
