We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Streamflow Restoration Project Manager to join our team at the State of Washington. As a key member of our Water Resources program, you will play a critical role in managing projects within a water resource grant portfolio valued in millions of dollars.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee the implementation of grant projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and agency policies.
- Collaborate with grantees to provide technical assistance and support, ensuring successful project outcomes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community groups.
- Oversee the closeout of completed grants, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve grant management processes and procedures.
- 8 years of experience in land use, urban, regional, environmental, or natural resource planning, and/or program development, landscape architecture, geography, land use or environmental law, public administration with an environmental emphasis, or closely related experience.
- Education involving a major study in land use, urban, regional, environmental, or natural resource planning, landscape architecture, geography, land use or environmental law, public administration with an environmental emphasis, or closely related field.
- Prior experience administering a portfolio of contracts and/or grants.
