Senior Payroll Specialist

Job Description:
As a Payroll Manager, you will oversee and support the payroll team in managing employee entitlements, superannuation, and long service leave. You will also provide expert guidance to managers and staff on payroll-related queries, including awards, enterprise agreements, and legislations.
Responsibilities:
- Calculate employee entitlements, superannuation, and long service leave.
- Provide support to managers and staff on payroll-related queries.
- Assist in development, training, and planning initiatives for the payroll team.
- Generate and audit payroll-related reports.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience in a Payroll Manager or Senior Payroll position (ideally 5 years). You will also require:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Payroll Administration or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work proactively to improve processes and implement project management initiatives.
- Current DHS and Working with Children's Checks.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Experience understanding and interpreting relevant Modern Awards.
