Senior Hydrodynamic and Coastal Expert

Develop innovative solutions to marine and aquatic ecological challenges by collaborating with a high-performing team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice on environmental impact assessments for coastal development projects.
  • Leading the analysis of met-ocean/oceanographic and water quality data to inform decision-making.
  • Undertaking three-dimensional hydrodynamic modelling and two-dimensional spectral wave modelling to support coastal management strategies.
  • Contributing to the preparation of proposals, technical reports, and project deliverables that meet client expectations.
  • Collaborating with engineers, approvals specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with numerical modelling software (MIKE software suite preferred).
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data sets and communicate findings effectively.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills, including experience in report preparation for clients and regulators.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
