Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of Clinical Operations Coordinator.

This position involves providing clinical direction and operational management for after-hours staff, VMOs, and ensuring clinical practice aligns with professional service values.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient admissions, staff, and material resources to meet key performance indicators.
  • Act as emergency controller; authorize staff and maintenance contractor call-ins; provide clinical support.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
  • Post graduate qualification in Leadership and Management (or willingness to complete).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior leadership role in a large acute hospital environment.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including mentorship and coaching of team members.
  • Advanced clinical competence and proven experience in clinical supervision.
  • Proven track record in the coordination and allocation of staff.
  • Demonstrated high level organisational skills.
  • Demonstrated problem solving ability.
  • High degree of computer literacy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Passion for delivering quality patient-centred care.
