Building Sustainability Expert

This role is ideal for a professional who possesses a strong foundation in building systems and services or mechanical engineering combined with expertise in sustainable design and building performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead building client programs and project delivery to optimize building performance
- Conduct comprehensive site assessments and energy audits to achieve Net Zero Carbon pathways for new and existing buildings
- Develop NABERS evaluations and improvement plans, while supporting Green Star certification projects (Performance and Interiors)
- Apply mechanical engineering expertise to optimize HVAC systems and renewable energy integration
As a Sustainable Building Consultant, you will play a crucial role in guiding clients toward a more sustainable and low-carbon future. You will integrate environmentally sound practices into every stage of their projects, leveraging your expertise in building systems, services, or mechanical engineering.
The ideal candidate has 3-4 years of experience in mechanical building services consultancy, building design, or operations. They should have experience with Green Star Performance and/or Green Star Interiors rating tools, as well as a proven track record in Net Zero Carbon strategy or NABERS Improvement Plan development.
