Graduate Sustainability Design Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated graduate to join our team of multi-disciplinary engineers in designing innovative and sustainable projects. With a strong passion for sustainability, you will play a key role in shaping the built environment and driving positive change.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate with a degree in Engineering or a related field to develop their skills and knowledge in sustainable design. You will work closely with experienced staff across multiple offices, analysing and reporting on project data, modelling energy efficient systems, and developing strategies for water conservation.

As part of our established team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail and Residential sectors. You will be empowered to drive change and decarbonise the built environment, with a focus on creating fantastic built environments that positively impact our communities.

You will perform sustainability design analysis, microclimate analysis, computational simulation (such as energy and daylight modelling), manage green building certification, develop strategies for water conservation, drive the reduction in upfront emissions, transportation, undertake energy audits, and other related duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education to degree level in Engineering or a related field
  • Knowledge of ESD rating tools such as Green Star, NABERS, LBC etc.
  • Passion for creative and intuitive design
  • Excellent communication skills and experience of using initiative to overcome challenges
