The team at Bethanie provides clinical support to residents of Bethanie Peel Aged Care Home located in Mandurah. As a Senior Healthcare Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care and case management, supervision, direction and leadership of nursing and care/support staff. You will take immediate action to ensure nursing care is delivered in a safe and effective manner while providing direction to Enrolled Nurses and Care Workers.

About You
  • You must be currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
  • Relevant clinical experience in an aged care environment is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently and professionally.
  • Ability to motivate staff and promote a positive work environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to confidently use clinical information systems.
  • Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of the organisation.
  • Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations.
  • Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to apply for one).
The Role
  • Take immediate action to ensure nursing care is delivered in a safe and effective manner while providing direction to Enrolled Nurses and Care Workers.
  • Complete assessment and/or admission requirements.
  • Maintain an effective referral system to senior nursing staff, medical staff and/or allied health staff.
  • Ensure that clinical records reflect care in line with all accreditation standards and legislative requirements.
  • Provide mentoring and training to employees where required.
