Job Description:

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team in providing security services for healthcare facilities across Western Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrolling assigned areas to deter and detect potential security risks
  • Conducting security screenings of individuals and belongings
  • Collaborating with healthcare staff to ensure a secure environment for all
  • Surveillance of patients admitted to hospital for mental health concerns
  • Responding to incidents and emergencies
  • Applying control and restraint techniques as needed
  • Documenting and reporting observations and incidents
  • Maintaining physical fitness for 12-hour shifts, including lifting 40kg+ and engaging in push/pull activities

Requirements:

  • Certificate II in Security Operations and at least two years' experience in security or related field
  • Demonstrated verbal and non-verbal communication skills, including conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques
  • Effective written communication skills, including producing well-structured reports
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, within a team environment
  • Experience dealing with culturally diverse backgrounds, mental health issues, and people with disabilities
