About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Project Support Officer to join our team at Leidos Australia. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative and coordination support to project leadership, manage aspects of project work packages, and support development of work proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to project leadership, including coordination of meetings, travel arrangements, and document management.
  • Project Coordination: Manage aspects of project work packages, including development of work proposals, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Financial Management: Support finance and resource management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Document Management: Support document management, including development of project documentation, reports, and presentations.
  • Process Improvement: Coordinate various process improvement activities, including identification of areas for improvement, development of solutions, and implementation of changes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and grow relationships with existing and potential stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Three or more years of experience supporting Geospatial projects, preferably in the Defence sector or Federal Government.
  • Skills: Strong ability with financial and budgetary processes, superior leadership skills, exposure to Waterfall or Agile project delivery methods, and experience with MS Project and Jira.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
