Environmental Performance Coordinator

This key role is responsible for driving environmental performance across multiple packages of works while contributing to sustainability communications within the project team and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategies to achieve project environmental objectives and targets in line with legislative and contractual requirements.
- Provide expert environmental advice to the wider project team.
- Contribute to project environmental strategies and initiatives.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including LXRA and rating authorities.
- Assist with developing environmental scope documentation.
- Conduct site audits to record environmental checklist requirements.
- Implement reporting requirements such as NGERS, water, waste, materials, and Whole of Life assessments.
- Drive waste reduction and resource recovery initiatives and implementation.
- Collect and analyze subcontractor and supplier environmental performance data.
- Monitor, review, and assess environmental performance on a regular basis.
- Assist in preparation of ISCA Design and As Built submissions.
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Proven capacity for managing environmental performance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Awareness of Green Star rating system principles.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate work activities.
- Ability to report concerns and issues related to project traffic objectives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and related software packages.
