Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Company Accountant to join our administration team at our Head Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple entities and complex financial structures, providing accurate and timely financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the month-end closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting, including preparation of monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis reporting.
  • Accounting and Compliance: Prepare and review BAS for multiple entities, reconcile nominated general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers monthly, and manage and prepare annual returns associated with FBT, payroll, etc.
  • Insurance and Registration: Manage and maintain insurances, registrations, and leases, and liaise with external accountants as required.
  • Financial Analysis: Assist with the preparation of yearly budgets and provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
Requirements
  • CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
  • Proven experience in a similar role (5 years minimum)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proven track record in achieving results with the ability to prioritize, work in accordance with reporting needs
  • Confident in decision making and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility to adapt and respond to changes emerging in a rapid-paced environment
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict timeframes
