Job Title: HSEQ Advisor

">About the Job

The role of HSEQ Advisor is to provide expert support for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across various construction and remediation projects. This includes preparing and implementing HSEQ documentation, advising teams on legislative requirements, processing incident and hazard reports, driving a safe and healthy work environment, conducting site inspections and audits, coordinating training programs, analyzing performance, reporting, and system updates, and maintaining the company's Integrated Management System.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and implement HSEQ documentation, including management plans and procedures
  • Advise and educate teams on legislative requirements and best practices
  • Process incident and hazard reports, and conduct root cause analyses
  • Drive a safe and healthy work environment through regular site inspections and audits
  • Coordinate training programs for HSEQ staff and contractors
  • Analyze performance data, identify trends, and recommend improvements
  • Maintain the company's Integrated Management System, including SWMS, JHA's, and audit processes
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Prior experience leading HSEQ in construction and remediation works
  • Tertiary qualifications in Health & Safety or a similar discipline
  • Working knowledge of HSEQ practices and relevant HSE legislation
  • Investigation qualification and experience desirable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
  • Skilled in positively influencing, developing, and maintaining site relationships
