We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Youth Justice Worker.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people in custody, empowering them to steer their lives in a positive direction.
- Act as part of an extended network of care, providing support and guidance to young people in custody
- Help young people work towards a daily structure, set goals, and develop life skills
- Monitor progress and support rehabilitative outcomes as part of a young person's care team
As a Youth Justice Worker, you will be responsible for empowering young people in custody to make positive changes in their lives. You will act as part of an extended network of care, providing support and guidance to help them achieve key goals and develop life skills.
Full training is provided, including a fully funded Certificate IV in Youth Justice. We look for individuals with passion, empathy, life experience, dedication, resilience, teamwork, verbal and written communication skills, and pro-activity.
Qualifications or experience in case management, youth work, community services, social studies, education, criminology, or allied health practices such as psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy, psychiatric nursing, or alcohol and other drugs are highly valued.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications or experience in youth work, case management, community services, or a related field. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
