Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to work in our Cairns branch on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of agricultural equipment including tractors, ensuring that no two days are the same.

In return, we require:

  • A Heavy Commercial Vehicle qualification or trade certificate
  • Previous relevant experience is essential
  • Sound working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Logical thinking and diagnostic skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Organisation and time management skills

Responsibilities:

  • Building strong relationships with customers
  • Performing electronic diagnosis and fault finding services
  • Carrying out service and repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications and directions
