We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Diesel Fitter/Mechanic to join our fantastic team in Far North Queensland.
This is predominantly a field role based at our Cowley Beach project site.
At times you may be required to work in our main workshop on the Atherton Tablelands and travel to other depots and site locations in Far North Queensland.
This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your mechanical expertise to a reputable contractor with ongoing work, modern equipment, and a supportive crew.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis on a range of civil plant, trucks & auxiliary equipment
Field based role with workshop duties when required
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company and site procedures
Maintain accurate service records and report on equipment status
Work independently and support operations to minimise downtime

About You
Trade-qualified Diesel Fitter/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (Cert III or equivalent)
Solid knowledge of mobile plant, heavy vehicles, and small plant equipment
Current driver's license (HR or higher desirable)
Construction White Card
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Strong safety focus and the ability to work autonomously
Experience in civil construction environment of benefit
