About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Portfolio Manager to lead the identification, validation, and delivery of a set of strategic internal and third-party cost optimization initiatives (opex or capex) across multiple Business Units (Group Platforms) to support their annual and long-term strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Business Unit Leadership to identify and deliver a portfolio of strategic initiatives to achieve Annual Plan
  • Organize and structure Business Unit and Supplier Ideation and opportunity shaping and prioritization workshops
  • Develop high-quality strategic artefacts, presentation materials, and business cases and present to senior leaders to gain approval
  • Lead, shape, and develop a pyramid team of Strategy consultants to deliver value to the BUs while allowing the individuals to reach their potential

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years with a Tier 1 consulting firm where you developed strong leadership skills as part of your consulting and problem-solving toolkit
  • Strong Program Management skills with a proven analytical and creative mindset that brings clarity to ambiguity
  • A proactive approach that delivers quality outcomes while leading and prioritizing a team with multiple project demands
  • Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills with demonstrated ability to influence and gain credibility with senior stakeholders
  • Prior experience leading Strategic Cost Reduction programs will be highly regarded
