Job SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and passionate Ward Clerk or Administrator to join our Outpatients Department Antenatal Clinic team. As a Ward Clerk, you will provide outstanding customer care to patients and their families, working closely with the nurse unit managers and medical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient-centred customer service by handling inquiries with a friendly and professional manner, booking and rescheduling antenatal appointments, and maintaining accurate and timely patient information data collection and processing of medical records.
- Work closely with the nurse unit managers to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Liaise with medical staff to ensure that patient needs are met and that medical records are up-to-date.
- Undertake general administration duties such as data entry, filing, and other tasks as required.
- Liaise with other areas of the hospital to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Manage patient electronic records ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of patient information.
- Experience in an acute patient-focused healthcare facility/hospital with a strong understanding of patient care and administration.
- Highly developed interpersonal and time management skills with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary work environment.
- Good computer literacy and sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- A track record of providing great service and customer experience with a strong focus on patient satisfaction.
- Strong interpersonal communication and report writing skills with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
