This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Care Manager to join a large, well-established not-for-profit Aged Care Provider as Second In Charge overseeing the clinical care of a large nursing home. You will be part of a thriving community of residents on the North Shore, while shaping the future of this facility.
About the Role:
This is a key role that will allow you to work closely with a second Care Manager and Facility Manager to oversee senior clinical staff to ensure the provision of high-quality care for residents. Using a collaborative approach, you will lead best practice clinical care processes and procedures to minimize risk and maximize resident independence and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee senior clinical staff to ensure the provision of high-quality care for residents.
- Lead best practice clinical care processes and procedures to minimize risk and maximize resident independence and wellbeing.
- Work closely with a second Care Manager and Facility Manager to achieve shared goals.
Requirements:
- AHPRA Registered Nurse with minimum 5 years' experience.
- Minimum 2 years prior experience in a Care Manager or Management position is essential.
- A demonstrable experience with accreditation processes and sound knowledge of the Aged Care Standards.
What We Offer:
- Attractive salary in the region of $130,000 - $139,000 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging (depending on experience).
- Permanent full-time Monday - Friday role.
- Second In Charge position working alongside a second Care Manager, reporting to the Facility Manager.
- Fully rostered home with lots of support onsite.
