Senior Clinical Nurse Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Northern Beaches Hospital. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care, at the right time, by the right person.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the after-hours period, working closely with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Support nursing and medical staff in reviewing patients discharged from Intensive Care and identifying those at risk of deterioration.
- Respond to and lead clinical emergency calls, working collaboratively with senior medical staff to ensure timely and effective interventions.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction, in collaboration with the nursing and medical teams.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with best practice and regulatory requirements.
- Current registration as a Nurse (Level 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent.
- Post Graduate qualification in Acute Care, Emergency Nursing, Intensive Care or Coronary Care Nursing or equivalent.
- At least three years' experience in an acute healthcare facility in a relevant clinical specialty.
- Experience working in both the public and private healthcare systems.
- Advanced Life Support Provider.
- Cannulation.
