About the Role

MUFG Bank, Ltd., Australia is seeking a highly skilled Credit Associate to join our Oceania's Credit & Portfolio Management team (CPM) within Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB) division.

As a Credit Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the origination and management of new and existing corporate and institutional customers, as well as offshore subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct annual credit reviews and internal rating reviews as per internal guidelines and policies
  • Covenant compliance monitoring and adherence to policy updates and changes within the Bank
  • Support refinancing / restructuring requests and other revenue-generating initiatives across the portfolio
  • Other client requests and account management tasks required in accordance with the Bank's policies and procedures
Requirements
  • 2 - 5 years' experience in a major domestic or international bank or chartered accounting firm
  • Undergraduate Business / Commerce / Law Degree from a leading university
  • Proficiency in the full suite of core Microsoft products, and strong financial modeling skills
  • Possess an understanding of financial and economic markets
  • Experience in credit writing, financial analysis and modelling, and legal documentation and debt structuring
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
