Credit Controller

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part-Time Credit Controller to join our finance team on a max term contract for six months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely collections and maintain accurate financial records.
- Manage customer credit limits and payment terms to optimize cash flow and minimize bad debt.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
- Prepare reports on account status and collections performance to inform business decisions and drive growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to support financial operations and achieve business objectives.
- Analyse credit data and financial statements to determine the risk associated with extending credit and make informed decisions.
Requirements:
- At least 1-2 years of credit control experience, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and demonstrated practical application.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in integration with multiple systems.
- Self-motivated with demonstrated initiative in solving problems and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Accounting/business degree or equivalent, with a strong understanding of financial concepts and principles.
