Heavy Haulage Driver Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Heavy Haulage Truck Driver to operate heavy haulage trucks and front-end loaders, attend to customer needs, maintain equipment, and adhere to safety regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy haulage trucks and front-end loaders for transporting goods safely and efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by attending to customer needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain the overall condition of equipment and vehicles to ensure they remain in good working order.
  • Fulfill all relevant safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries on-site.
  • Collaborate with allocators and team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Complete administrative tasks, such as documentation and invoicing, accurately and efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid current Drivers Licence with a minimum standard of MC.
  • Possess a National Driver Work Diary issued by the NHVR.
  • Hold a General Induction White Card.
  • Demonstrate competence in operating front-end loaders.
  • A Forklift operator's licence is preferred but not essential.
  • Have extensive experience in heavy vehicle operation.
  • BASIC Fatigue Management Statement of Attainment (if required).
