Heavy Haulage Allocations

Primarily as Heavy Vehicle Allocator at Tegra Australia, however other duties include:

- bulk product
sales inquiries, heavy haulage vehicle work allocation, servicing customer needs, work in a safe manner,
maintain a clean presentable workplace, completing clerical duties, any other duties as directed and to
work and co-operate as a productive team member of the Tegra group.

**_Hands on Duties Include but are not limited to:

- **
- Allocate heavy haulage truck movements to service customer deliveries and internal stock

requirements;
- Bulk sales inquiry - contact with customers by telephone, electronically and in person;
- Attend to front counter retail sales;
- Customer service and local tipper deliveries;
- Maintain good customer relationships;
- Prioritise your own workload in order to manage daily work requirements;
- Adjust plans to meet new priorities;
- A willingness to approach new challenges and technology;
- Liaise with all parties in the Chain of Responsibility to ensure work allocation is achieved within

NHVR compliance, driving hours, trip planning, etc utilising fleet tracking and electronic fleet
maintenance program;

**_General:

- **
- Knowledge of heavy vehicle operations and compliance;
- Commit to always providing the highest level of customer service;
- Ensure at all times you are appropriately dressed and presented in accordance with company

policy and procedure;
- Conduct yourself in a proper and professional manner in accordance with company policy and

procedure;
- Work in a safe manner in accordance with company WHS policy and procedures;
- Ensure all invoicing and paperwork is completed in accordance with company policy;
- Attend training seminars or courses as required;
- Complete in-house induction and training;

**_Qualifications:

- **
- Hold a current Drivers Licence;
- Have General Induction White Card;
- Competency for load shifting operations and forklift operator’s licence preferable;
- Knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Regulator and Accreditation Scheme laws and regulations;

**_Reporting:

- **
- Report directly to the ‘Group General Manager’ or in his absence senior management;
- Liaise with the ‘Concrete Manager’ and ‘Fleet Manager’ with regard to servicing, maintenance

and breakdown of plant and equipment;
- Liaise with quarry and plant managers with regard to product production and customer service.
